6 months along and its finally sinking in!

Perhaps it's the enlarging baby bump or recent baby showers or maybe we're just that slow at realizing what we've gotten ourselves into, but we are starting to realize we will be real parents in under 3 months! 3 months; let's ponder this for a while. 3 months is: 1/4 of a year, 11-12 weeks, 1 semester of college, the amount of time it takes a movie to go from the hotsie-totsie theater to Blockbuster rental, the time it takes for us to whittle through a Costco case of green beans, and $2,025 in rent. The last comparison leads us to our next realization.... FINANCES. Everything has turned into dollars and cents for us. Is it normal for expectant parents to view even the difference between 71 degrees and 72 degrees in dollars and cents? Let's just say we're really enjoying the new apartment for many reasons one of them being that we can walk to the grocery store instead of having to buy precious gas to get us there.

The Following are pictures of Betsey's Belly progression:

About our new place...
We moved into Oxford Square apartments about 2 months ago. We have loved the extra bedroom and an actual space for our table! Someday, when its all clean we'll post pictures :) Geoff likes to say we moved to get away from his stake music chairman calling, but honestly we were crushed to find out a 4 block move put us not only out of our old ward, but out of our old stake. We have really enjoyed getting to know new friends and still being close enough to run into old friends on walks. We really moved because we needed to get a two bedroom apartment for baby Garrett to come home to. We've spent our summer trying to get somewhat of a nursery started in the second bedroom. Betsey isworking part time at Gymboree and Geoff has been taking classes for both spring and summer terms and working part time at his IT job for the Church.
