march

What a busy Month.  We started out the month with Geoff going to New York for 2 weeks.   During those two weeks Betsey and the Kids went to South Carolina to be with Ahbi and Papi.  One of the favorite things that the kids did in South Carolina was go to a Safari/Petting zoo with ahbi, joelyn, and the Sverck girls.  and the nature museum...

and practicing for easter by warming up our egg hunting skills

We loved introducing Baby Emmy to Grammy and Gramps, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.  luckily i snapped a shot of emmy meeting ppl on whatever camera was handy but that makes them hard to find now.  im missing meeting gramps and grammy still :(

On our long ride home, Garrett realized that he had to go pee, after we had just left a gas station.  We pulled over and had him pee on a tree. Betsey trying to encourage him, because we had have had struggles getting him to pee standing up said, “wow, I wish that I could do that.”   Garrett replied saying, “Mom why can’t you do it?” She responded saying, “Well, I don’t have a penis.”  Garrett said matter-of-factly, “well Mommy, maybe Santa will bring you one for Christmas.”  We had a long hard laugh from that one.

We got home safely and started getting back to our day-to-day routine.   Last week we had a lot of fun going to Disney on Ice with the Kids.  It was the Toy Story 3 Disney on Ice.  Every time we drive by the American Airlines Arena Garrett comments on how we went and saw Toy Story on Ice and how great it was.  Look at those excited faces!

Garrett is getting better and better saying prayers and paying attention in church.  He did a really good job listening to General Conference.  Jocie is now saying cars and toes.  She plays babies from sun up to sundown.  She also calls Emmy “Mim.”  She loves her little sister.  Emmy is growing very fast, the doctor was even surprised at how quickly she is growing.  She is sleeping better at night now, usually from 11pm -5am.   But she also likes to be held from about 8 am to 11 am.  Betsey is trying to get that fixed.  She is saying “goo.”

We had so much fun! It's fun to do things with the kids you'd like to do anyway but would look kind-of silly without kids around! hahaha! Garrett is really good at praying; we were very impressed. Jocie is just as cute as can be! and a sweet big sister. Emmy is a doll too, very content! Thanks for 3 great grands! <3 Mom

Ha! I'm totally going to be calling you this year to see what you got for Christmas! :) I think Mim is a super cute nickname.
